Privacy Policy

Local data

Ledger stores transactions, categories, budgets, recurring payments, receipt images and recognized receipt text on your device. The current version does not operate an account server or upload this financial data.

Photos and camera

Camera and photo access are used only when you choose to scan or attach a receipt. Text recognition uses Apple system frameworks on the device.

Purchases

Apple processes subscription purchases. Ledger receives entitlement status from StoreKit but does not receive your full payment details.

Exports and deletion

Exports are created only when you request them. You choose where they are shared. You can delete all Ledger data using Reset All Data in Settings or by removing the app.

Future services

Bank and cloud connections are not included in this version. This policy and the consent flow will be updated before those features are enabled.
